The grand opening of the new built State Gallery of Lower Austria in Krems took place at the end of May 2019.
The exhibition "SEHNSUCHTSRÄUME. BERÜHRTE NATUR UND BESETZTE LANDSCHAFTEN" shows some of Hundertwasser’s architecture models for a more human architecture in harmony with nature:
EYE-SLIT HOUSE, IVAN TARULEVIC'S GRASS ROOF HOUSE IN NEW ZEALAND, THE GREEN MOTORWAY - THE INVISIBLE, THE INAUDIBLE; PETROL STATION - LESS AGGRESSIVE THAN USUAL (all dated from 1974).
The exhibition is temporarily closed, after re-opening it will be prolongated until May 24, 2020.
